Eat this Bro. Eddie until you choke!

1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. 4For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. 6This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. 7Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

- Romans 13:1-7

One must wonder, why Paul did not mobilize a demonstration on the streets in protest while Emperor Nero made living torches out of the Christians he captured. Bro. Eddie, agreed, Gloria needs to come down, but your solutions are inappropriate. You seriously need to read up your Bible and History. Grr. You shame Christians everywhere.

The Apostle of the Bleeding Feet

The Apostle of the Bleeding Feet
(Ode to Sadhu Sundar Singh)
By F. Kristoffer Pasion

Blood.
Feet numb from walking on the snow
A man walked slowly, cold clouds so low.

Each step he takes, he sees souls afire
Each stride he makes cold winds astir.

High in the top of mountains bereft of warmth
He seeks Divine encounter to warm his heart.

He leaves footprints of blood as a trail
What a Love in a body so frail!

He remembered a life without meaning
Of endless searching and of wandering

Nowhere to go and nothing to live for
He wanted to end it once and for all.

But He appeared before him as bright as the sun
God gave him a new beginning, a race to run

“Awaken India, she who ignored me many times
Who worshipped a million gods and forgot she is mine.”

Blessed are those who bring good news to the weary
Whose feet bleed as life runs out into this story

For he would give his life to the One who rekindled it
And he willingly gave his all, so that India be lit.

For this dire call of his Lord he went on
To the Himalayan heights and beyond.
